This continues to be our most popular tour, and rightly so! This epic tour enables you to visit all of the key sights on Skye in a 12 hour day, starting from Inverness, with pick-ups from Drumnadrochit & Invermoriston too.
The tour visits the Fairy Pools, as well as the top of the most famous sights on the Trotternish Peninsula (Kilt Rock and the Old Man of Storr), the coastal town of Portree, and Eilean Donan Castle and Loch Ness/Urquhart Castle along the way. The tour starts in mid-April and is running until the end of October. It is running 6 days per week.
If you are looking to explore the route less travelled, and spend time truly experiencing the Isle of Skye, then this might be the tour you are looking for. With 3 wonderful hikes at the Old Man of Storr, the Quiraing and the Cuillin Mountains this tour is the connoisseurs choice and the only tour of it’s type operating from Inverness.
We have a busy programme of shore excursions from Invergordon next year, with scheduled tours running from the Emerald Princess, Norwegian Dawn, Norwegian Star, Jewel of the Seas, Sirena Oceania, MS Volendam, MS Nieuw Statendam, MS Rotterdam, Azamara Quest and Island Princess. Tours visit Cawdor Castle, Clava Cairns, Culloden Battlefield, Inverness and Loch Ness and are exclusively for ship passengers, with departure times based around docking times, and a back-to-ship guarantee provided.
