We are excited to announce that, due to popular demand, Royal Princess cruisers can now enjoy WOW guided excursions from three of Scotland’s top ports. The most common question that we get asked from Princess passengers, after they have been on our award-winning Invergordon shore excursion, is if we run tours from other ports. So we listened. Over the past year we have worked hard to develop two fantastic new itineraries that we believe will showcase the very best of Scotland. Dubbed ‘The WOW Triple Whammy’, it includes shore excursions from: Invergordon, Glasgow Greenock and Edinburgh South Queensferry and it is available to all Royal Princess passengers in 2018.

Why choose WOW

Brodie Castle with daffodilsWhat comes to mind when you think of Scotland? Castles, rolling hills, historic battles, winding country roads, majestic lochs, dramatic mountains, whisky and unpredictable weather, right? We are confident that you will experience all of this and more on our shore excursions. Our itineraries are carefully crafted to include all of the must-see sights but with some extra WOW factors included along the way. We like to take you off-the-beaten-track to escape the crowds and experience Scotland’s hidden gems.

You can read the full tour itineraries on our shore tour pages but here is a little taste of what to expect:

Kelvingrove musemAs well as visiting the popular sights of Loch Ness and Culloden on our Invergordon excursion, you will get a private tour of a sensitively restored, and less frequented, 16th Century castle. On our Glasgow Greenock and Edinburgh South Queensferry excursions, you will have the choice to tailor the day to suit your own interests. You can either end the day in Glasgow by exploring the famous Kelvingrove Museum and Art Gallery, or choose to rest your feet in one of Glasgow’s top pubs. On our Edinburgh excursion, you can choose between a golf themed experience, at the British Golf Museum, or a historic tour of ancient St Andrews. There really is something for everyone and our fantastic routes are matched by the fantastic tales and enthusiasm from our expert guides.

What our customers say

Clava Cairns

We appreciate that it can be difficult to know which tour to go for and it is important tous that you feel confident with your choices. We want you to get the most out of your trip to Scotland and would like to reassure you with a few TripAdvisor comments from our 2017 passengers:

“After 19 Cruises and numerous tour bus shore excursions, this particular tour was one of the best. Their experience in avoiding the large crowds added to a sense of having a private tour. These guys know how to provide a great tour.” (Bill, July 2017) Click here to read the full review.

“We took a highlands shore excursion and were extremely happy with our tour. Because we were traveling during high season, crowds at attractions had an affect on enjoying previous tours. It was refreshing to be taken to places and routes less travelled by via WOW Scotland.” (Customer, July 2017) Click here to read the full review.

There is a reason this tour group is rated as high as it is. My wife and I want to make a return visit to Scotland and we will contact WOW again because of this tour. (B.C., September 2017) Click here to read the full review.

Fantastic deals

Loch Ness Rainbow

Our tour prices include entrance and admission fees (which can be between £10-£15 per attraction), and you will always be looked after by a separate tour guide and driver. We really believe this makes our tours excellent value for money. Our introductory deal has now ended but we still have a fantastic deal on offer. When you book on to all three tours, you will automatically receive £20 off the Edinburgh tour.

So what are you waiting for? If you book with us now, you could be one of the first Princess passengers to experience the WOW Triple Whammy.
