Sunday 13th August 2017 is set to be a record breaking day at the port of Invergordon with two of the biggest cruise ships docking at the same time. Between the Celebrity Silhouette and the Caribbean Princess, we are expecting to welcome over 6000 passengers to the Scottish Highlands, many who are looking to explore the fantastic sights of Inverness and the surrounding area.
To meet the high demand for tours on this busy day, we have organised four coach tours to give WOW customers a fantastic introduction into the Scottish Highlands. This is a new record for WOW Scotland too, and with 3 of the 4 tours already fully booked places are filling up fast!
One of the reason’s behind the popularity of our tours is that they take you to places off-the- beaten-track, where you will not only get to escape the crowds but you will also experience unique sights which no other cruise ship tour will visit. In addition to this, at around half the cost of the cruise ship’s own excursions they represent fantastic value.
Our visit to Brodie Castle is always a highlight as you will be treated to a personal guided tour from National Trust for Scotland experts plus we are the only tour from Invergordon to visit this fantastic sight. We have an excellent day planned for you with many varied and interesting stops from the fascinating Culloden Battlefield to the scenic shores of the legendary Loch Ness plus many more great sights along the way including Clava Cairns and Inverness.
We want to give you best experience of the Scottish Highlands which is why we have specially designed the tour to take you to places away from well-beaten cruise liner trail. What’s more, to
maximise the amount of time you have sight-seeing, we will also arrange a complimentary lunch (worth £6) which is included in the price of the tour.
We would love to see you on our Classic Highland Shore tour from Invergordon this August!
